Below is a checklist of what Steppin' Out provides for each and every event.  We are there to help you create the best and most unique event possible.

What we do

Consultation:
We'll help you decide the best look for your party.  We work with you in the pre-production phase of your event to incorporate your ideas along with our professional suggestions.  We are happy to meet with you and go over in stock costumes which are available for rental as well as other options such as custom costuming and purchase.  During this time we are happy to devise an estimate suitable for your event budget.

Costumes:
The best in the business—sturdy, and designed specifically for unrestricted movement necessary for party personnel tasks.

Delivery & Check-in:
It's easy for you because we do it all. We deliver  to the party site, distribute costumes to personnel and collect costumes at the party's end.  We even take care of the cleaning.

Travel:
Take us with you to any city - anywhere there's a party!

1. Atmosphere Characters:

Let Steppin' Out add that special touch to your next theme party or event.  We can provide you with atmosphere characters and novelty acts.  Atmosphere characters enhance the look of your parties and we have characters from all time periods; from cave men to men on the moon and everything in between.  All you need to do is make one phone call to Steppin' Out and we will handle all arrangements and details.  Actors provide their own local transportation.

• Look-a-likes:   Looking for Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe or Charlie Chaplin to attend your next event?  We can get them there!
• Character Actors:  Steppin' Out can provide actors and actresses as atmosphere characters for your next theme party.  They are fully costumed and trained in improvisational acting to mingle and interact with guests.  We offer a wide range of types and looks to fit all your party needs.  We go to great lengths to create an authentic look for the character of your choice.
• Specialty Performers:  We have everything from big bands to a 50's jitterbug couple; from a singing Andrews Sisters trio to a dancing clown.

2. Entertainment:

Steppin' Out

Raytown Kiwanis Orchestra

The Raytown Kiwanis Orchestra is music's answer to the Not Ready for Prime Time Players!  This comedy show band offers up a rich mix of the obscure and the familiar, the ridiculous and the sublime.  They parody and pay tribute to the blues and stride of the 1920's, forgotten gems of Broadway, country & western, rock, and TV commercials -- little escapes their fevered imaginations.
